Looking for a fun way to memorize the books of the Bible? Here are some silly tricks to remember the last of Paul’s Letters (Epistles).
Our kids’ Bible book memory plan uses repetition and visual memory techniques that are crazy enough to stick. Also included are brief summaries of each book and ways to quickly find Bible books. (Great Bible Drill for Kids or Sword Drill for children!)
Today’s memory trick finishes Paul’s Letters (Epistles). Hebrews is the bookmark between Paul’s Letters (Epistles) and the General Letters (Epistles). No one knows for sure who wrote the book of Hebrews. After that are the General Letters (Epistles) with peoples’ names. “Hebrews was so excited about the last books of the Bible that she held a race to the end. James came first with his feet ready for action. Peter came next on his TWO-wheeled bicycle. Next came John on his THREE-wheeled tricycle. Jude slipped in just before Revelation declared, ‘The End.’” Don’t mix up John the Gospel with the letters of 1, 2, and 3 John. The “race” isn’t until the end of the New Testament. The Gospels are at the beginning.
