Looking for a fun way to memorize the books of the Bible? Here are some tricks to remember the books of OT Law.
Our kids’ Bible book memory plan uses repetition and visual memory techniques that are crazy enough to stick. Also included are brief summaries of each book and ways to quickly find Bible books. (Great Bible Drill for Kids or Sword Drill for children!)
Today’s memory trick is from LifeWay. It’s an easy way to remember what’s in the first five books of the Bible. Genesis is “First.” It is the first book about the first things. Exodus is “Exit.” Exodus is about how God’s people exited from Egypt. Leviticus is “Laws.” There are lots and lots of laws in Leviticus. Numbers is the “Number 40.” Numbers begins with a bunch of numbers. It tells about the 40 years the Israelites spent in the wilderness. Deuteronomy is “Do-it-again.” It’s a repeat, a retelling, a “do-it-again” of the laws God gave Moses and the people.
